What's included

What pricing and competitor analysis includes

Research that ends in a decision — which price to hold, which to cut, and which products to stop listing altogether.

Competitor price monitoring

Direct competitors tracked on your key products, compared on total price including postage.

Repricing strategy

Rules for when to move price and when to hold, set against your margin rather than a race to the bottom.

Product & niche research

New product opportunities researched using sold listings data, not guesswork or trending lists.

Sell-through rate analysis

Which of your listings actually sell versus which sit — and what to do with the ones that sit.

Postage strategy

Free postage versus charged postage modelled properly, because it changes both your price position and Best Match.

Category benchmarking

How your prices, postage and returns terms compare to the sellers currently winning Best Match.

Promotion planning

When a markdown sale earns more than a permanent price cut, and when it does not.

Findings report

A written report with the recommended action per product, not a spreadsheet dump.

Why sellers choose us

Cutting price is the fastest way to win a sale and lose a business.

eBay’s Best Match considers price alongside conversion, postage speed and seller performance. A lower price is only one lever — and usually the most expensive one. We look at all of them before touching your margin.

  • Every recommendation checked against margin after fees
  • Total price compared, item plus postage
  • Sold-listings data used, not trending lists
  • A decision per product, not a spreadsheet to interpret

Pricing & Competitor Analysis FAQ

Do you use repricing software?+
We can work with repricing tools, but the rules matter more than the tool. We set the floor, ceiling and logic from your margin, then use software to execute it.
How often should prices change?+
Less often than most sellers think. Constant changes confuse your own data. We recommend a review cycle based on your category’s speed.
Can you research new products to sell?+
Yes — using sold-listings data, sell-through rate and competition level rather than trending lists that everyone else is also reading.
Does free postage actually help?+
Often, because eBay favours it in search and buyers compare total price. But it has to be priced in properly, which is exactly what we model.
Will lowering my price fix slow sales?+
Sometimes, but not always. Poor item specifics, weak photos, slow handling and low seller rating stop sales at any price — we check those first.
What do I receive at the end?+
A written report with a recommended action per product: hold, adjust, promote or stop listing — with the reasoning and margin behind each.
